Chemical Rabbit or Creamy Candy - better be safe than sorry

OH NO! Now my childhood candy has turned a chemical rabbit !!!! :O

WHITE Rabbit Creamy Candy - a name instantly recognizable to most adults and children - has come under scrutiny. You can find this in US, especially in Asian supermarkets.

Appearing in Singapore local newspaper The Straits Times, this milky candy is now being tested by the Agri-food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) for a chemical it should not contain - Formaldehyde. This preservative is commonly used for embalming.

Better be safe than sorry - it is not known if this is a false alarm. Testing in progress...

(P.S I posted this here and not in my other blog since at this moment, it might be considered an non-edible!!!??? )
