Far and Away

Far and Away

Guest post written by Kevin Beach

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? These are the questions I often ponder in the quiet of the night when the rest of the house is asleep. Many nights, I am sitting up alone watching HGTV’s “House Hunters International” on http://www.direc4u.com/, and this takes me away to exotic and lovely destinations. After spending 6 weeks in England during college, I long for the days when my girls are old enough to appreciate traveling to historic locations like Oxford, England or even somewhere less inhabited like rural portions of Nicaragua. There is so much that the world has to offer. It’s a place far bigger than ourselves, our city, or even our country. Endless differences in culture and lifestyle exist, and I find it immensely important to be able to raise my children in a way that they can experience and embrace the differences amongst nations and populations. Only through exposure and awareness can we truly appreciate these differences, yet find a common thread in humanity. Experience and immersion and far more impacting than any book or website or TV show. True understanding only comes through experience and the time to absorb those experiences to change the fiber of our being.

How to save using Mambo Sprouts

What I usually do is to pick up the Mambo Sprouts coupon booklet and the Whole Foods Deals coupon; then double-coupon valid items at Whole Foods Market. It will be more savings if the item happens to be on sale.

For example, with

Earth Balance $1.00 off manufacturer coupon (Mambo Sprouts coupon valid to use at any stores); and
Earth Balance $1.00 off vendor (Whole Foods Market) coupon (only valid to use at Whole Foods Market);

the Earth Balance Unsweetened Soy Milk which is on sale in Whole Foods Market at $2.99 (regular $3.49) is now $2.99 - $1.00 - $1.00 = $0.99 !!

It is spectacular savings!
